Rectangular Wire Die Spring as per ISO 10243
This heavy duty die spring conforms to ISO 10243 dimensional and performance standards, designed for use in high-load die sets, press tools, jigs, and fixtures. The spring is constructed from high-tensile chromium-silicon alloy steel, precision cold-coiled and stress-relieved to ensure consistent elastic modulus and fatigue resistance under repeated compression cycles.
The rectangular wire section (thickness 1.5 mm) enables high energy absorption per unit deflection with reduced solid height. The spring exhibits a spring constant (k) = 2.3 kgf/mm, maintaining linear load–deflection characteristics across its operational range.
The maximum working deflection is 9.2 mm, with a maximum load capacity of 20.7 kgf ±10%. Beyond this range, permanent deformation may occur. The spring is identified by Red colour coding (R) indicating Heavy Load classification as per ISO 10243 colour standards.
